Sallie Marbury

Sallie Catherine Marbury, 91 of Arkadelphia, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2008 in Bismarck. She was born November 15, 1916 to the late Charlie E. and Sadie Malone Marbury. Sallie was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and retired from Vassarette (Munsingwear) in Arkadelphia. She is preceded in death by her brothers Samuel Lewis Marbury and Leonard Edwin Marbury as well as her sisters, Rose Marie Bryan and Jo Nell Marbury.

Survivors include one daughter Emily Copeland of Bismarck, her granddaughters, Anita Bogard and husband Jeff of Royal and Janet Gillham and husband John of Bismarck and her three great grandchildren, Ashley Bogard, Chris Gillham and Kelly Gillham. She was a very special "Sha" to her niece, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM Monday in the Shiloh Cemetery near Arkadelphia. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Shiloh Cemetery Fund C/O Carolyn Hamm, 2350 Central Rd., Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
