Ruth Vinsett

Ruth Ann Vinsett, 77, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 on her 62nd Wedding anniversary. She was born October 13, 1939 in Paris, Illinois to Leslie and Mary Pine Drake. She moved to Arkansas at the age of 8, one of 13 kids. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and a factory worker at Stone Container.
She is survived by her son, David (Linda) Vinsett; daughter, Kay (Danny) Shaw; sisters, Louise Sanford and Mary Ellen McElhaney; grandchildren, Rachael Merced, Sarah Blood, Laura Kannedy; Phillip Vinsett, Virginia Johnson, Brian Baldwin and Jeremy Baldwin; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dee Vinsett and ten siblings.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
