Ruth Scarborough

Ruth “Biddy” Scarborough, 90, of North Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019.  She was born February 23, 1929 in Delaware, Arkansas to the late H.M. and Nellie Roberson Wood.  Ruth was a member of the Realtors Association of North Little Rock. She taught Ceramics at the Willow House and the Hays Centera.  Ruth was an avid bridge player and taught bridge for 50 years. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rose City.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Z.M. Scarborough, Jr.; son, Ronald Joseph Scarborough; grandson, David Piper; son-in-law, Dale Cash; brothers and sister, Evelyn Bailey, Harley Wood and Lemoyne Wood.

Ruth is survived by her daughter  Sandra Cash of  North Little Rock; three granddaughters, Chris Covan (Jerry), Suzanne Hill (Shane) and Amy Scarborough; great grandchildren, Sydney Scarborough, Jordan Brookings, Kristin Hill, Kayla Hill and Joseph Hill.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home with a visitation prior to service at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery.
