Ruth Lee Porter, 86, of Little Rock, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012. She was a member of Shady Oaks Miracle Church.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Porter; seven children, Janie Crutchfield (Vernon), James David Porter (Mary), Richard Wally Porter (Charlene), Shirley Diane Doherty (Bill), Kathleen Roberts (Glen), Elizabeth Ann Smith (Mike) and Jeremy Keith Hoang (Shakia) ; sister, Odean Colwell (David); and a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Shady Oaks Miracle Church. Burial will be in Landmark Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
