Ruth Lawrence

Ruth Lawrence, 91, of Sherwood passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. She was born November 16, 1924 in Mayflower, Arkansas to the late Jimmy and Nancy Shirley. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She was a charter member and Sunday School teacher at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock for over 50 years.
Ruth is survived by her grandchildren, Donna (Dale) Price, Todd Lawrence, Joey (Leslie) Wilson, Misty (Jeffrey) Mavity, Shane (Crystal) Lawrence, Robin Schmitt and Chad Lawrence; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Coy Shirley (Rosie). She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Owen Lawrence; three children, JoAnn Wilson, Johnny and David Lawrence and eight siblings.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 10th at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 11th at the church. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
