Ruth Lantrip
Ruth Naomi Lantrip, 89 of Cabot, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Woodland Hills Nursing Center in Jacksonville. She was born on January 8, 1921 in Durant, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of Claude Cole and Bessie Smith Cole.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son Sam Lantrip of Sherwood; daughters LaQuata Ledbetter of Cabot and Jeanie Thompson of Little Rock; a brother Earl Cole of Big Springs, TX; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Lea Pioneer Cemetery in Sherwood with David Talbert officiating.
Casket bearers are Steven Jones, Castle Armstrong, Mark Ledbetter Jr., Justin Ledbetter, Luke Ledbetter, and Jared Hendrickson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
