Ruth Gullett

Ruth Gullett, age 91, of Pearcy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 27.

She was born on July 20, 1933 in Point Cedar, Arkansas, to Porter Massey and Dona Owens Massey. She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Irvin Massey and Melvia Burton; her husband, George; and her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Susan Gullett.

She was a graduate of Glenwood High School, class of 1949. Ruth worked at the Hot Springs Rehabilitation Center for 25 years before retiring in 1998. She enjoyed baking, sewing, watching QVC, and spending time with her family. Her bright smile and warm hugs will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karren and Ben Blankenship; her granddaughter and husband, Amy and Wes Patton; in addition to a host of extended family and friends who she considered family.

A private family memorial will be held at a later time. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Garland County Humane Society
