Ruth Andrews

Ruth Russell Andrews, 66, of North Little Rock, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. She was born December 16, 1946 in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Thomas Ardis and Quida Beatrice Teague Russell. Ruth attended El Dorado High School graduating in 1964 and Hendrix College graduating in 1968. She worked for the Girl Scouts training leaders and was the leader of Troop 445. Ruth loved quilting, gardening and her dogs, Maggie and Cotton. She loved going to the beach and picking up shells.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry Andrews; son, Jon Andrews (Kara) of Cabot; daughter, Stacia Palmer (Kevin) of Monticello; sister, Ann Huffman (Jerry) of El Dorado; brother, Larry Teague (Mary) of Williamsburg, Virginia; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, a Smith Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
