Russell Heartsill Perrymore, 84, of Conway died Tuesday at UAMS Medical Center.
Mr. Perrymore was a real estate agent. He also worked under Bill Clinton at the Economic Development Agency, was an Honorable Kentucky Colonel, was head of security at the Governor's Mansion, was chief investigator for the Attorney General's office under Bill Clinton, was a boxing Golden Glove Champion while in high school and the Navy, was police inspector for Missouri Pacific Railroad, and was a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Fulmer Perrymore, of the home; three sons, Mark, Brian, and Roger Perrymore; six daughters, Linda Pafford, Lisa Wooten, Paula Marshall, Pamela Fitzgerald, Tammie Baca, and Amanda Perrymore; one sister, Mary Sue Koontz; 29 grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Heartsill and Elizabeth Lucas Perrymore, one son, Russell Perrymore, Jr., and two brothers, Bill D. Perrymore and Leo Perrymore; and one sister, Daphne Hill.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Point of Grace Baptist Church in Conway with Eric Albat officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Arvest Bank in Russell's name.
