Rubye Hames

Rubye Hames, age 51, of Hot Springs, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 22, 2022.

She was born on May 25, 1971, in Carlinville, Illinois, the daughter Stanley Hawkins and Dorothy Scriber Hawkins.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rubye was a Christian in her faith and loved Jesus with all her heart.  She loved going to church and worshipping the Lord at The Ark of Praise.  She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.  She loved her family more than anything on Earth.  She was a loving and compassionate person, who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Brandon Hames of Hot Springs; two children, Kaylea Hames and Dylan Hames, both of Hot Springs; one grandchild, Drake Lofton; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judy and Chris Hibbs, of Hot Springs; her sister, Hazel Hawkins; extended family members, a host of wonderful friends and her church family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home.
