Ruby Lucille McElderry, 102, of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012. She attended 1st Baptist Church in Jacksonville and Bayou Meto Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by her sons, Bob McElderry of Jacksonville and Bernard "Buck" McElderry of Moses Lake, Washington; daughters, Margie Dullard of Maumelle and Bea Storey (Ray) of Shell Knob, Missouri; 26 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren; and 86 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ross McElderry and husband Jesse Files; daughter, Mary Knapp; and son, Jerry McElderry.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
