Ruby Inez Hale Heater

Ruby Inez Hale Heater, 97, of Sherwood, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was born April 9, 1925 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Ben and Ida Usery Hale. She worked for the VA Medical Center, was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church and then First Baptist Church of Sherwood. She loved the Lord, and was always active in her church. She taught Sunday School for 73 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Survivors include: three sons, Edward Heater, Jr. (Paula), Benson Heater (Kelli) and John Heater; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Williams, Melanie Lamb, Bryan Heater, Brooke Heater and Jonathon Heater; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Heater and their son, Timothy Heater.

A special thank you to the staff of Greystone Nursing and Rehab, Cabot, who took loving and excellent care of her this past year.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 2022, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
