Ruby Jane Hamby has gone to be with her Lord and Savior December 12, 2011. Born to Samuel (Sam) Jackson and Ollie Mae Jackson on March, 15, 1927, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Mary Lou and Judy Gale; her husband, Hersil O. Hamby, her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her daughters Dana Elise Chaney (Carrollton, TX) and Wanda Sue Ford (Media, PA); her Grandchildren, Stephanie Elise Douglas and Eric Michael Chaney; her Great-Grandchildren, Michaela Elise Douglas, Laura Isabella Douglas, and Gavin Michael Chaney; and her Son-in-Laws, Michael J. Chaney and Frank Ford. Jane's love of life, her family, and her faith, will instill a blessed memory in all that she touched. She is a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church and worked at Timex in Little Rock, retiring after 50 years to enjoy travel and her family. Jane's final viewing will be Friday, December 16, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the North Little Rock Funeral Home; services will be Saturday, December 17, starting at 11:00 AM at the North Little Rock Funeral Home; and she will be laid to rest following services at the Mayflower Cemetery.
