Ruby Davis

Ruby M. Davis, 87, of Sherwood, passed away on April 22, 2017. She was born November 18, 1929 in Faulkner County to the late Eugene and Beatrice Allen Davis. Ruby loved the Lord and was known for her strong faith in Jesus Christ. She enjoyed listening to Gaither's gospel music, loved sweets and always looked forward to her weekly hair appointments.
Aunt Ruby was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers. Those surviving her include six nieces: Sandra Dumond (Lee), Janette McNair (Louis), Doris Wood (LeRoy), Vicky Beard, Judy Herron, and Nancy Jackson; two nephews: Leon Kyzer (June) and Bobby Gray (Kathy); best friend, Dora Saalfrank; many other nieces; nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews; and several dear friends and extended family members.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM tonight at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Fox Ridge Assisted Living, Sherwood Nursing and Rehab and Arkansas Hospice for their compassionate care.
