Ruby Bohannon

Ruby Bohannon, age 98, of Hopper, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017. She was born on August 22, 1918 in Hopper, the daughter of William J. Bohannon and Georgia Horn Bohannon. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Robert Bohannon, Holland Bohannon and Fay Bohannon. A long-time resident of Hopper, she was a member of the Hopper Church of Christ. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Eloise Bohannon of Little Rock; two nephews, Stanley Bohannon of Jacksonville and Tony Bohannon of Sheridan; and three nieces, Eva Jean Bohannon, Joy Lee Kirkland and Jackie Ward, all of Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 12, 2017, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Stanley Bohannon officiating. Interment will be in Hopper Cemetery.
