Ruben "Eddie" Williams, age 62, passed away October 2, 2013. Eddie was born on December 14, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Ruben Williams and Helen Ford. Eddie worked for Murry's Dinner Playhouse, where he retired.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Earline Williams of Bryant, AR; 2 daughters, Early Sobba and husband Lee of Hot Springs, AR, and Annette English of Bryant, AR; Grandchildren: Steven Forrest, Allen and Garrett Polston, Sean Sobba, Samantha Stewart, and Cody and Justin Patterson; Great Grandchildren, Jaylin and Tracie Stewart, Tysen Forrest, Allie Polston, and Logan Potts; nephew, Virgil Williams, Jr. ; cousin, Shaun Ford; and a host of extended family members and friends who loved him dearly and will miss him always.
Eddie was preceded in death by his brother, Virgil Williams.
A visitation will be held Monday, October 7th, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Home, Benton Chapel, 322 North Market Street, Benton, AR. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 8th, 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Highway 89, North Little Rock. For information call 501-778-7100.
