Ruben Potter
Ruben W. Potter, 73, of Sherwood passed away on November 5, 2011. He was born to R.L and Lula Potter on August 12, 1938 in Brasfield, Arkansas. Ruben was a carpenter with a good sense of humor and enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diane Potter of Sherwood; son, Steve Potter of Arizona; three daughters, Tamie Potter of California, Donna Jean Rose of Oklahoma, Rhonda Reyes of Texas; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Loyd Potter of Jacksonville, Ernie Potter of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and a host of family and friends. In addition to his parents, Ruben was preceded in death by two grandchildren, one sister, Nell Adams, and two brothers, Jimmy Potter and Earl Potter.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the North Little Rock Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., November 10, 2011 at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
