Rozenna Ann Sparks, 70, of Beebe, was made whole again on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020 and is now singing and walking pain free for the first time, in a long time, in her new Heavenly home.
Rozenna was born to the late David and Peggy (Schaffner) Burris, December 3rd, 1950 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She graduated High School in 1969 from Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, Arkansas. She was married to John, her loving and devoted husband for nearly 28 years. Until her retirement as a nurse, she worked several jobs ranging from food service to education, many times simultaneously, as she raised two boys and was finally able to follow her dream in becoming a nurse. She gave her life to Jesus Christ as a young mother, which allowed her to build a solid foundation of faith and prayer over her lifetime. Her faith in God, coupled with a powerful prayer life, will be her legacy and an aspiration point for many.
Survivors include her husband, John Sparks; sons, Michael Stewart (April), Jonathan Stewart (Becky); stepsons, Paul Sparks, and Phillip Sparks; her sister Margie Kratz (Frank) and her brother David Burris III (Lizz); 9 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
The family will host visitation at the Smith-Westbrook funeral home, located at: 404 W Dewitt Henry Dr, Beebe, AR at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 29th followed by a short walk to her final resting place at 11:00 AM.
State of Arkansas COVID-19 directives: Face coverings, maintain social distancing.
