Roy Dale Wisener

Roy Dale Wisener, age 70, of Black Springs, Arkansas passed away March 4 th , 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born October 17 th , 1952 in Ukiah California to Vernon Wisener and Minerva (Lewis) Nelson.

On December 21 st , 1972 he married the love of his life, Dinah Sue (Duggan) Wisener. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue Wisener and their children, Michael and Josie Duggan of Black Springs, Brent and Angie Turner of Kirby, and Dallas Wisener and Tammy Elder of Black Springs. He is also survived by his wonderful grandchildren, Austin and Rachael Wisener, Gracie and CJ Staggs, TJ McCarty, Ryan Duggan, Zane Duggan, Alex Back, BJ Back, Blake Turner, Ashton Turner, Hailee Lewis and Haizen Elder, and his 11 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brothers RV and Katie Wisener of Amity, and Rickey and Jessica Nelson of Oden, his sisters Iva Jean Ponder, of Norman, Carolyn and Allen James of Norman, and Kay Gray of Story, his brothers-in-law Gerald and Karen Duggan, of Lodi, and Carlos Duggan of Glenwood. He is also survived by many special nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Samantha Wisener, his parents, his brothers Larry Gray, Joe Mason, Ronnie Wisener, and Johnny Crawford, his sister Loreen Gray, and brother-in-law Jimmy Ponder.

Roy proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He cherished and loved his family most in life, and Roy and Sue and family spent many hours traveling and taking road trips.

Pallbearers are Austin Wisener, CJ Staggs, Ryan Duggan, Zane Duggan, Blake Turner, and Robert Woodall.

Visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Home Glenwood Chapel. On Wednesday, March 8^th, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Home Glenwood Chapel. On Thursday, March 9^th, at 2:00 PM. Interment at Black Springs Cemetery.
