Roy Whitfield
Roy "Blake" Whitfield, 82, of Mountain View, passed away November 22, 2018. Born in Mountain View, Arkansas to the late Robert and Bertha Risner Whitfield, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a cable TV technician for over 40 years and a member of the VFW.
He is survived by his sons, James Whitfield (Melissa) of Mabelvale, Robert Whitfield (Judy Nelson) of Mountain View and Jeff Whitfield (Trish) of North Little Rock; daughters, Rhonda Goforth of Cabot, Shirley Cox (Andrew) of Ogdensberg, New York and Robin Fish (Nelson Sayward) of Granville, Vermont; sister-in-law, Inez Whitfield of Mountain View; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be officiated by Bro. Sidney Thompson on Wednesday, November 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), (501)224-2200. Blake's online guestbook may be signed at www.littlerockfuneralhome.com.
