Roy Heard Trigg age 84 of Arkadelphia passed from this life Saturday, February 8, 2014. He was born the son of C. H. and Mallie Jones Trigg. A lifelong resident of Clark County, Roy graduated from Arkadelphia High School, Class of 47, Served in the U. S. Army in the Korean War and was a member of the Degray Baptist Church. He was last employed at Spark's Auto downtown Arkadelphia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Jean Trigg, his parents, one brother, Luther Trigg, one sister Tennie Trigg and one step-daughter, Shirley Willis.
Survivors include three sisters, Mary Jones and Lulu Myers, both of Arkadelphia and Marjorie Kennedy of Sheridan, two step-sons, James Ledbetter of Bismarck and Harold Ledbetter of Gurdon, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, February 11 in the Degray Baptist Church with Pastor David Young officiating. Burial will be in the Degray Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 PM Monday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
