Roy Otis Schales

Roy Otis Schales, 87, of Brenham, Texas, passed away November 3, 2023, at Brenham Nursing and Rehab.

He was born August 17, 1936, to Otis Schales and Bertha Conyers Schales.

Roy was a foreman in oil field maintenance his entire career.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Imogene Walton Schales; his twin brother, Troy Schales; two sisters: Ruby Swain and Nellie Brantley and one brother, EJ Schales.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Lisa Schales Stitt of Brenham, Texas and Sharon Schales of Maumelle, Arkansas; his grandchildren: Bryan Stitt (Maria), Alysse Stitt, Emily Stitt (Andrew) and Brayden Stitt (Emily); his great grandchildren: James Stitt and Gianna Stitt; his brother: Henry Schales; his sister: Juanita Lowery and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 1:00p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Caney Cemetery near Bismarck, Arkansas.
