Roy Roling

Roy Granville Roling Jr, 49 of Sherwood, passed away April 1st 2008 with his mother, Patsy Patterson Roling, by his side. He was born May 20th 1958. Roy was known for keeping his yard impeccable. He loved the Christmas season and decorated the manger with advice from his neighbor, Lee Berry. Roy loved growing beautiful flowers and roaming the yard with "Lady" his poodle. Roy attended North Hills Service for the Handicapped. He was very athletic and was very proud of the 4 gold medals he won in Special Olympics. He was a lover of sports, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Denver Bronco's. Roy was preceded in death by his father, Roy Granville Roling Sr. He is survived by his loving Mother, Patsy Patterson Roling and a host of relatives and friends. Roy will be sorely missed. Visitation will be held from 7-9PM Thursday, April 3rd at Huson Funeral Home. Services in his honor will be held at 2:00PM, Friday April 4th 2008 in the chapel of Huson Funeral Home, 7700 Hwy 107 in Sherwood, with The Reverend Scott Walters, of Christ Episcopal Church. Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock
