Roy Jones
Roy Gay Jones, 84, of Little Rock, Arkansas departed this life March 7, 2018. He was born October 23, 1933 in Cabot, Arkansas to the late William Woodson and Cora (Beavers) Jones.
Roy proudly served in the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver and owned his own siding company, Joy Siding. Roy was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #60 and the VFW.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents; and twin brother, William Ray Jones.
Roy leaves behind his loving wife of thirty-six years, Valeta Jones; two sons: Jerry Jones and wife Tammy, and David Jones; two grandchildren: Ashley Riemersma and husband Ben and Katelyn Caldwell and husband Zach: brother, Johnny Jones and wife Pat; two sisters: Glenda Sue Strayhorn and Carolyn Kirkland; step-son, Darryl Block and wife Sherry; step-daughter, Trina Powell and husband Dale; four step-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who love Roy and will miss him always.
Celebration of life will be held from 3:00-6:00 PM, Tuesday, March 13 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #60, 6200 Arie Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 .
