Roy Everett Fairchild, 94 of North Little Rock, Passed away April 9, 2014 in Little Rock. He was born May 30, 1919 in Monette, Arkansas. He was the son of the late James and Della Fairchild.
Mr. Fairchild was a retired self-employed Appliance Repairman and a United States Army Veteran of WWII, and was of the Baptist faith
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-eight years Hazel Fairchild; children Jerry Fairchild, Sandra Stair, Gerald Fairchild, James Fairchild and Shelly Smith; five grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2014 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood, with burial following at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock.
