Roy Lee Copeland, 49, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008. He was born February 17, 1959 in Conway, Arkansas to Johnnie Wesley and Viola Marie Carmichael Copeland.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Joyce Copeland, of North Little Rock; son, Dustin Lee Copeland (Britney Gunther), of Sherwood; daughter Tamara Lee Blanchard (Bill), of Cabot; step daughters, Clystie Lee Copeland and Paige Nicole Copeland; two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Morgan Blanchard; brother Johnny Copeland (Freda), of Faulkner County; two sisters, Shelby Collins (Wendell), of Mayflower and Judy Shirley (Frank), of Faulkner County; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Elton Lee Copeland.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday at Harmony Baptist Church. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
