Roxie Jo Davidson Dunn, age 72, of Jessieville, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
She was born on April 16, 1950, in Amity, the daughter of Roscoe Samuel Davidson and Camellia May Dollar Davidson. On October 15, 1994, she was married to the love of her life, Marvin Ray Dunn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Kent Davidson; and her sister, Sheryl Davidson.
For over thirty years, Roxie Jo worked for Hot Springs Funeral Home, where she had many duties, but most importantly she was a preplanning counselor, selling many prepaid funeral plans over the years. She was also a licensed cosmetologist and loved to cook. She enjoyed going to the lake, taking road trips, playing in the snow, and going to yard sales, where she would always purchase various items that she would later turn around and sell in her yard sales. Roxie Jo dearly loved her family, especially her children and her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Marvin Dunn; her son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Angela Crawford; her daughter and son-in-law, Keena and Bryan Taylor, all of Jessieville; three grandchildren and their spouses, Allie and Nick Kennett, Anna and Axel Pozzi and Lincoln Crawford; her great-granddaughter on the way, Ruby Jane Kennett, who she was looking forward to spoiling; three brothers, Dub Davidson, Glen Davidson and Burt Davidson, all of Amity; two sisters, Cordie Smith and Trish Wilson, both of Amity; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2022, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Bro. Jimmy Scott officiating.
