Ross Harris

Ross Harris, 74, of Little Rock, passed away March 4, 2016. He was born in Pine Bluff to Sam Harris, Sr. and Thelma Jones Harris. He is survived by his son, Terry Harris (Linda) of Hensley; his daughter, Vicki Lewis (Todd) of Little Rock; grandchildren, Jeff, Cassie and Austin and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Raygen, Hannah, Alex and Ramsey; sister, Betty Foley (Bob); brothers, Sam Harris, Jr. (Linda) of Little Rock, Bobby Harris of Alexander and James Harris (Cynthia) of Mayflower; and a wonderful group of nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Basil Harris and twin brother, Roy Harris.

Special thanks to the Community Oriented Police (C.O.P.) of the Northwest Substation of the Little Rock Police Department, all of whom were an integral part of his life and community. Also, special thanks to the John Barrow Community for their kindness and concern for Ross.

Services will be held on Friday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Paul Roberts. Memorials may be made to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters, 312 W. Pershing Blvd., No. Little Rock, AR 72114.
