Rosemary Ballentine

Rosemary Ballentine, 88, made this world a better place when she arrived on October 8, 1930. She was a special gift from heaven. She touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She lived her life to serve others and would give everything she had to help someone in need.

Rosemary was a truly beautiful person inside and out. As a young woman she was a model, but she understood that true beauty was shown by what was inside of her soul.

She was full of courage, strength, and compassion. She was a strong woman full of grit and grace. She was a fearless and faithful fighter.

There was no fear as she left this world on December 14th, 2018 because she knew she was on her way to spend eternity with her heavenly father.

Those that loved her have been left with a loss that hurts deeply, but also with a peace in knowing that she is no longer in pain and is made whole again.

She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.  Rosemary is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Ballentine; nine children, Sammy Johnson (Sheila), Judy Clendening (Brown), Garry Cooper (Pamela),  Pamela Cooper, Sandra Ritchie (Steve), Justin Ballentine, Bryan Ballentine (Darielle D’Mello), Keith Ballentine (Corey Jackman) and Brandi Nelson (William); sixteen grandchildren; Dustin, David, Kim, Tony, Lance, Melinda, Hollie, Heather, Kasie, Amanda, Shelly, Matt, Grayson, Noah, Savannah and Evelyn; several great and great–great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Cabot. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church of your choice.
