Roseanna Markham, age 69, of Norman, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020. She was born on December 16, 1950 in DeQueen, the daughter of Russell Allen Miller and Geneva Alice Wright Miller. On March 5, 1967, she was married to Tommy R. Markham who preceded her in death on April 8, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her father and passed away together with her sister, Deborah Black. Roseanna was the first female and current mayor of Norman. She and her husband, Tommy, owned and operated the Quik Sak convenience store for many years and she was a member of the Norman First Baptist Church. She enjoyed being with her grandbabies and traveling. She is survived by two sons, Bryan Markham and his fianc, Darla Morley, of Edmond, Oklahoma and Lucas Markham and his wife, Devin, of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Melody Markham and Trevor Markham; her mother, Geneva Miller of Norman; her brother, Tim Miller of Norman; and her nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 11, 2020, in the Glenwood First Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Wills officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the church. Interment will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
