Rose Mary Zimmerman, 78, of Mabelvale passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. She was born October 16, 1935 in Conway, Arkansas to the late John and Elenora Strack Lachowsky. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, The Catholic Daughters, St. Theresa's Choir and the Friday Morning Scripture Study.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank William Zimmerman; seven sons, Ken (Julie), of Mabelvale, Mark (Linda), of Greenwood, Tony (Kim), of Bryant, Tim (Teresa), of North Little Rock, Joe (Deana) of Hackett, Ronald, of Arkadelphia and John (Shara), of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Clarita Lepine, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She was preceded in death by her son, Frank William Zimmerman, Jr.; and siblings Elenora Mary Lachowsky, Sister Mary John Lachowsky, SSND, John Edward Lachowsky, Jr., Father Clement Frank Lachowsky, CSSP, Norbert Anthony Lachowsky, Angela Louise Thessing, Louis Edmund Lachowsky, Alphonse Albert Lachowsky, and Dennis Hubert Lachowsky.
Memorials may be made to St. Theresa's Catholic Church or Arkadelphia Human Development Center.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2014 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church. A visitation and Rosary will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday prior to Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
