Rose (Elliott) Black Smith, 93, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, February 18, 2008. She was a retired licensed Practical Nurse from UAMS and a member of Amboy Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Ira Murphy, of North Little Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Charlotte Black, of Clinton; three sisters, Daisy Heffington and Fern Wickliffe, both of North Little Rock and Violet Beall, of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Susan Haynes (David) and Stan Murphy (Becky), all of North Little Rock, Debbie Jenkins (Bruce), of Guy and Kevin Black (Sherry) of Cabot; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Ann Elliott; her husband of 53 years, Roy Black; 2nd husband, Henry Eldon Smith; two brothers and a sister.
