Rose Marie Lewis

Rose was born in Montague, Massachusetts on May 5, 1934 to Loren Belado and Beatrice Schofield Belado.

She worked for John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Boston. During that time, Rose met Charles Lewis while he was stationed in the Navy. They married in Key West Florida in 1953. They later made a home in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked for Chicopee for 18 years then retired in 1994. Rose was a devoted Catholic and loved to cook. She also loved the holidays and spending time with all of her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband Charles Lewis of 69 years, daughter Charlene Goodwin (Ronnie), son Danny Lewis, daughter-in-law LuVena Lewis, son-in-law Donald Mosley, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Preceded in death by her parents, daughter Darlene Mosley, son Donald Lewis, brother Louis Belado Jr, and sisters Leona Jorden and Theresa Mayne.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Mass to begin at 11:00 AM at St Patricks . Interment will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
