Rosalie Ibbotson Briley, 88, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014. During World War II she worked as one of the original "Rosie The Riveters." She was a member of Almyra Baptist Church and retired from Chicopee.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Darlene Briley of Glen Rose, Texas; grandson, Danny and Kelly Briley of Tolar, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Marina and Jenna Briley; and a special friend, Richard Aaron of Jacksonville; and many extended relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Lee Briley (Bill); parents; son, Tommy Briley; grandson, David Briley; two brothers, Bud and Gene Ibbotson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday Edgewood Memorial Park. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
