Rosa Lee Morris, age 81, of Black Springs, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 3, 2016. She was born on September 18, 1934 in Fort Towson, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert Stone and Leona Cowan Stone. On August 5, 1950, she was married to Kenneth A. "Shug" Morris. In October of 1957, they moved to Black Springs where they raised their four children. Rosa Lee was a member of the Black Springs Baptist Church. She was a huge Caddo Hills basketball fan and enjoyed many years of traveling to games. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth A. "Shug" Morris of Black Springs; four children and their spouses, Sue and Bill Ray of Mount Ida, Dorothy and Doyce Cogburn of Glenwood, Patricia and Tom Lynn of Norman and Buster and Melinda Morris of Black Springs; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Davis of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Vivian Gibson of Fort Towson, Oklahoma; one brother, Bobby Stone of Fort Towson, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 6, 2016, in the Black Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Brian Hill officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Black Springs Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Chris Ray, Jeremy Ray, Derek Brown, Brandon Morris, Jason Morris, Jarrod Cogburn and Damon Cogburn. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
