Ronnie Eugene Shelton

Ronnie E. Shelton, 86, of Conway passed away on May 23, 2023.  He was born July 22, 1936 to James Austin Shelton and Sidney Faye Warmath Shelton, who preceded in death along with his older brother, James Tate Shelton. 

This family moved to Perry County when Ronnie was five.  He was a star basketball player for Perryville High School.  After graduating he served in the Air Force for four years.  Upon his return, he married the love of his life, Glenna Jo Cranford Shelton, and they were married for 60 years.

They moved to North Little Rock where they owned Shipley Donuts and began raising a family.  Rhonda Jo Hutchison, her children: Fischer, Jessica (Cooper) and Thomas; Robby Finch Shelton, his wife Jennifer, their children: Austin (Sydney), Trevor, Mason and Eli; devoted brother and friend, Ricky Dale Shelton and his wife, Jane; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memories of Ronnie’s life will be June 2, 2023, with a Visitation at 3:00 PM, Service at 4:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home, North Little Rock; followed by a 6:00 PM graveside at Thornburg Cemetery.
