Ronnie Shaw

Ronnie Lynn "The Mayor" Shaw of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. He was born November 12 in Lake City, Arkansas to the late Newton and Estella Shaw. Ronnie was an auto parts sales manager for forty-five years. He was a member of the NLR Elks Lodge 1004 and a square dancer for forty years with the Whirl-A-Ways and Arky Outlaws. He served in the Army National Guard from 1980 to 1986. Ronnie was also an avid deer hunter with C&S Hunting Club and a Boy Scout Leader with Troop 133.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Patricia Frances Shaw; son and daughter-in law, Lynn and Tonda Shaw; grandchildren, Sarah Bess and Travis Shaw; and a host of extended family and friends including his "Camp Gulf Beach Buddies." He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and three children, Patrick, Jennifer and Jeanette.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Memorials can be made to Friends of Animals, North Little Rock at 1 Championship Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
