Ronnie McPherson

Ronnie Lee McPherson of Jacksonville passed away January 25, 2022, just 10 days following his 72nd birthday. He was a hardworking, determined man who retired after 33 years as a welder.  He was an example in faith and attended Sylvan Hills Church of Christ.

He worked for United Fence Company while simultaneously building a home for his family.  For seven years Ronnie had his hands all over every room of the house he lovingly built for his wife.  Ronnie set an example for other couples by the way he protected and cared for his wife, Barbara.  He died the day after they celebrated their 53 years of wedded bliss.

To this union were born two children; Kelly Sinkey and husband Lyle and Jason McPherson and wife Melissa.  Ronnie was “Papa” to Trusten Sinkey, Savannah Sinkey, Landon Sinkey, Blayne McPherson and Sydnee McPherson; and a great-granddaughter, Zoe Eaves.  He is also survived by siblings:  Alice Jones, LeRoy McPherson and J.W. McPherson; and several extended family members and many friends.

Visitation will be begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 11, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
