Ronnie Love

Ronnie E Love, 78, went Home to be with our Lord, peacefully with his wife Phyllis by his side, on the morning of December 12, 2021 at UAMS Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of the late Herbert E. Love and Mary Dell Campbell.

Ronnie graduated from NLR Ole Main in 1961. Following graduation he went on to obtain a master’s degree in Special Education. In 1986 he married his high school sweetheart Phyllis Ott. They celebrated 35 years of marriage on August 30th. Ronnie loved spending time with his wife and all of his family, beyond that he had a passion for hot rods, racing, and music.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Ott Love, his sister Nancy Lewis, his children Elizabeth Rodgers, Allison Davis, Lance Love, and Debbie Lochkovic, his grandchildren Nadia Dellinger, Erin Lochkovic, Jesse Wooldridge, Tyler Davis, Ashlyn Davis, Calahan Rodgers, Donovan Rodgers, Lanay Cearly, Ashley Martin, and Spencer Reynolds, as well as 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father Herbert Love, mother Mary Dell Campbell, sister Lynn Love Sarna, brother Statler Campbell, and grandson Erik Lochkovic.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 16th, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home on Main Street North and a committal service to follow at 3:00pm at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes in Memphis, TN.
