Ronnie W. Holden, 72, of Beebe, Arkansas died August 22, 2020 at Greystone Nursing and Rehab,. holding his daughters’ hands. He was born October 27, 1947 in Searcy, AR to the late William Clayton Holden and Eva Dee Holden.
He served in the Air National Guard as a flight engineer on the F101 Voodoo, assistant crew chief to General Bailey on the C181. He retired from Walmart after many years of service as a moving van and cross-country driver.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda (Stephen) McNeill and Gina (Wesley) Barnes; five grandchildren, Cole McNeill, Carson McNeill, Cameron Barnes, Caleb Barnes and Colton Barnes; two sisters, Sandy Holden (Danny) Poindexter and Connye Holden (Dickey) Fortner; mother of his children and lifelong friend Linda (Belew) Conyers; a beloved cousin Wanda Raye Johnson; two nephews, Nathan (Jennifer) Poindexter and Derrek (Tracy) Nokes and many beloved great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Greystone Nursing and Rehab., and hospice for their dedication and professionalism while supporting Ronnie and the family through his debilitating Parkinson’s and dementia. Their love for him was unconditional.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
