Ronnie Glen Hipp

Ronnie Glen Hipp, age 63, of Nashville, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.

He was born on July 14, 1960, in Texarkana, Texas.  Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Hipp; and his brother, Ray Trammel.

Ronnie was a member of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville.  He was always a hard worker, and no matter what job he was working he was very dedicated to doing a great job for his employers. Ronnie was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and could always be found cheering them on as if he were right there in person in the stadium.  In addition to his love for football, Ronnie enjoyed spending time outdoors, and especially loved hunting and fishing.  Above all, Ronnie loved his family with all his heart.  He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Jessie and Terrie Hipp and Brandon and JeannaKaye Hipp, all of Dierks; his six grandchildren, John "J.R." Hipp, Levi Hipp, Cheyenne Annette Hipp, Michael "M.J." Hipp, Lane Hipp, and Cheyenne Nicole Hipp; his sister, Pam Harmon of Nash, Texas; numerous extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. 

Funeral services to honor Ronnie's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 16, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, 209 North Third Street, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943. 

Interment will be in the Unity Cemetery in Nashville.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Hipp, Jessie Hipp, Tim Stone, Buddy Wade, Tim Harris, Wayne Harris and Darin McCory.

Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of Dierksen Hospice, and the nurses and staff of The Springs of Minecreek in Nashville.
