Ronnie Dycus, age 73, of Glenwood, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019. He was born on May 28, 1946 in Texarkana, Texas, the son of Fred Henry Dycus and Ellie Mae Roberta Ennis Dycus. On July 3, 1969, he was married to Sharon Kay Wicker Dycus, who preceded him death on October 7, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, David Dycus. He was Baptist in his faith and volunteered for many years at the Glenwood Health and Rehab. For over fifty years, he owned and operated R & R Used Cars in Glenwood. Ronnie had the most generous heart and would help anyone in need. He was an avid hunter and golfer, but the greatest joy in his life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he dearly loved and was so proud of. Our hearts are broken and there will forever be a huge void in our lives, but we all will find comfort in knowing that he is now back with his beloved soulmate and true love, Sharon. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chet and Desty Dycus of Bryant; two daughters and one son-in-law, Melissa Davis of Glenwood and Sherrie and Justin Mitchell of Bauxite; seven grandchildren, Kaylee, Morgan, Colton, Kyndall, Lauren Grace, James and Noah; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Mary Dycus of Glenwood; his brother-in-law, Gilbert Wicker and his wife, Mary, of Emmett; two sisters-in-law, Martha Faye Parmer and her husband, Sam, of Carthage, Texas and Betty Sue McKamie and her husband, Oliver, of Hope; his dear friends, Mary "Tink" Henderson and Pat Patrick, both of Glenwood; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends.
