Ronnie Duke, age 61, of Glenwood, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024.He was born on May 11, 1963 in Little Rock, AR to Ron Duke Sr. and Patricia Tolbert Duke and was preceded in death by his father.

Ronnie was a devoted family man known for his unwavering faith in Christ. He enjoyed watching Charles Stanley and studying his literature. Ronnie was famous for his infectious smile, quick witted sense of humor, and contagious laugh. He cherished his role as a Pop Pop to his grandson, Brooks, and loved spending quality time with his best friend and love of his life, Jeffrey.

For the last 15 years, he worked for Thrash Propane, where he was not just an employee but part of a family. Ronnie took great pride in his well-manicured lawn and pool, which became a gathering place for family and friends. He loved traveling, especially going on cruises, and he was an avid fan of sports, particularly his beloved Dallas Cowboys and Arkansas Razorbacks. Music, singing, and dancing were also close to his heart.
 
He is survived by his wife, Jeffrey Ewing Duke of Glenwood; his mother, Patricia Owens of Glenwood; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Jarvis; two sons; two daughters, Jalyn Jester(Seth) of Glenwood and Denby Jester(Brinson) of Benton; grandson, Brooks Lee Williams; brothers, Richard Duke(Christina) of Hot Springs Village and Rustin Duke of Hot Springs; step-brother, Shawn Luekenga (Deanna) of Arizona; sister, Rhonda Duke Bruening(Dan) of California; along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Honorary pallbearers are the doctors, nurses, and staff at Village Springs Rehabilitation Center and Gentiva Hospice.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Glenwood. Burial will follow at Bonnerdale Seventh Day Adventist Cemetary.
