Ronald Gene Vann, 72, of Cabot died January 18, 2012. He was a lifelong member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, an avid outdoorsman and a retired truck driver for ABF for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mickie; two daughters, Ronya (Tim) Hammonds, of Ward and Robin (David) Chamblee, of Cabot; his twin brother, Donnie (Helen) Vann, of Cabot; two sisters, Mary Jo Morrow, of Little Rock, and Fay (Jimmy) Driskill, of Cabot; brother, Ray (Madge) Vann, of Furlow; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a dear friend and caretaker, Peggy McKee and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the church.
