Ronald Steven Petty, 62, of Quitman, Arkansas passed away on April 7, 2016 at the Baptist Health Center in Little Rock. Ronnie was born August 30, 1953 in San Francisco, California to Steve Petty and Bobbie Coleman Petty.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Bryan Steven Petty. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Judy Squires Petty of 43 years. His daughter, Tina and husband Shane McGhee, his grandsons Trey and Gus McGhee all of Quitman, and his granddaughter, Lyndsie McGhee Campbell and husband Cody Campbell of Fayetteville.

Ronnie and his wife were owners and operators of Eason, Inc., he was active in the Mid-State Horse Show Association, and enjoyed his cattle farm that his family helped him run. He loved playing baseball, riding horses, fishing, cruising around his farm in his RTV, but above all, he loved watching his children and grandchildren participate in horse shows and sports.
On March 20, 2016, Ronnie accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as his savior.
Visitation services will be held Sunday, April 10th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and the funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 11th at the Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial at Salem Cemetery in East End.
