Ronald Claude Owens, 73, of Little Rock, passed away June 20, 2014. Born June 29, 1940 in Kenmare, No. Dakota to Earl H. and Irene McGillvary Owens, he was retired after 20 years from the U.S. Air Force and after 20 years with Quest Diagnostics. He was a member of Otter Creek Community Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Martha Crawford Owens; daughters, Beth Marie Owens Ferguson and husband, Tim of Louisville, Kentucky and Bridget Irene Owens Atkins and husband, Allen "Turtle" of Little Rock; brothers, Carl Owens of California, Loren Owens of Crosby, No. Dakota and Kenny Owens of Williston, No. Dakota; sisters, Marcia Owens of Bowbells, No. Dakota and Brenda Niess of Minot, No. Dakota; three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be Friday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Otter Creek Community Church, 13000 Quail Run, followed by interment at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to Otter Creek Community Church.
