Ronnie Lee Nichoalds

Ronnie Lee Nichoalds was born September 25, 1947, and passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, at the age of 76.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 40 wonderful years, Della; brothers, George Nichoalds (Charlotte) and David Nichoalds (Karen); his sister, Becky Sanders; and a host of other beloved family and friends.

Ronnie grew up in North Little Rock and graduated from N.L.R. High School in 1966. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, then returned and went to college at Ouachita Baptist University (OBU) to obtain his college degree. His professional background involved banking and finance, as well as, the higher education industry. He served 34 years as Executive Director for the Student Loan Guarantee Foundation of Arkansas in Little Rock and retired as Director Emeritus. Ronnie was extremely proud to work alongside his staff and would always stress the Board of Directors’ commitment to them.

He was a member of Sherwood First Baptist Church where he taught an adult Sunday School class several years with dedication and commitment. Ronnie's favorite Bible verse that he often quoted was Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God." His favorite song was, "Because He Lives". Some may remember him stating, "Keep a smile on your face and a song in your heart."

In the still moments of sleep, God slipped him away and into Heaven to wait, until we meet again. Love, Della
