Ronald Earl Kellar, 79, passed away on February 5, 2019. He was born in Cedar Creek and graduated from Central High School in Little Rock. He graduated from the University of Little Rock with a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics and had a career at AO Smith as a Quality Control Chemist until he retired. An active deacon at Trinity Assembly of God church for many years, Ron was a devout follower of Jesus Christ. Ron loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He also loved football and especially loved watching college football.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Camelia; his grandson, Nate Gordon; his parents, Ben and Florence Kellar; brothers, Ralph, Luther, JF, Dewey, Ardith Kellar;; and sisters, Sybil Stout and Sula Stobaugh. He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Kellar McCarty, his granddaughter, Christina Gordon and his sister, Shirley Hardke Stanley.
Visitation will be Friday, February 8 at 10:00 am with a memorial service following at 11:00 am at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), (501)224-2200. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Andrews Anglican Church Missions, 8300 Kanis Road, Little Rock, 72204.
