Ronald George Harris, Lt. Col. (Ret) USAF, 87, of Romance, Arkansas, passed away November 23, 2021.  He was born January 10, 1934, in Rockwood, Illinois.

Ronald was a retired Lt. Colonel from the Air Force. He spent over 34 years dedicated to the Air Force. He was a C-130 NAVIGATOR AIRLIFT INSTRUCTOR at the L.R. Air Force Base in Jacksonville before he retired. He enjoyed his time bowling with his bowling team on the base. He enjoyed spending his spare time with his family and enjoying the outdoors.

Ronald is survived by his son, Kenneth R. Harris of Beebe; grandchildren Jeff Harris of Texas, Stephanie Walton (Bobby) of Romance, Josh Harris (Greg) of Texas, Steele Harris of Texas; great grandchildren Brahm Harris of Chicago, Belize Harris of Chicago, Kaje Harris of Texas, Kayleigh Walton of Romance; step-great grandson Noah Walton of Romance; and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Harris; his wife Doris R. Harris; daughter Kimberly Sue Harris, and a brother, Warren Douglas Moore.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.  He will be buried in Ebenezer Cemetery, Rockwood, Illinois.   Please visit www.smithfamilycares.com/westbrook to view the registry.
