Ronald Burton
Ronald James Burton went home to the Lord on October 13, 2015 after fighting a long illness, surrounded by close family. Born on July 19, 1943 in Little Rock, AR to James C. Burton and Minnie Grace Stoll Burton, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sylvia Ann Burton, and three children, Trisha Smith, Stacey Hampton and Michael Burton. He is survived by five grandchildren. After graduating high school in 1962, he served 6 years of honorable service in the US Navy. He went on to become a Master Mason. Once retired, he enjoyed woodworking, being chaplain for the local Sons of Confederate Veterans, Masonic work, and just enjoying the life of retirement. Graveside service will be Friday, October 16, at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway.
